A hardcore/industrial fusion supergroup, Lard was a side project for Ministry's Al Jourgensen (guitar) and Paul Barker (bass) and ex-Dead Kennedys frontman Jello Biafra; the group also included onetime Revolting Cocks drummer Jeff Ward. Much of the band's output reflected RevCo's sense of humor and the lighter side of Biafra's political views, which kept Lard's music informal and loose.
