Synopsis: Lake Placid (1999)
Synopis: ALLY McBEAL creator David E. Kelley wrote and produced this smalltown horror comedy with equal parts laughs and gore. When scientists studying beavers in a Maine lake are killed by something mysterious in the water, an investigation reveals a very large crocodile with an insatiable appetite. The cast of characters sent in to try to catch the murderous beast includes a game warden (Bill Pullman), a scientist (Bridget Fonda), and a professor with a fondness for the scaly beasts (Oliver Platt).
