After agonizing and researching when our 10+ year old Maytag Neptune finally died on us -- a workhorse over the years, though fraught with control board issues -- we've had this LG 2455 for a month and it's a dream machine! Super capacity tha...t allows even extra-large loads to get clean, easy intuitive operations, only uses 13 gallons of water per load ... and the supposed 'con' of long wash cycle times has NEVER been an issue, even with huge blanket and comforter loads ... it factors the time automatically, and has not exceeded 60 minutes once ... and we use HALF the drier time we used before with the Maytag. This is a great machine ... LG has come on so strong in electronics, and now I am sold on their appliance technology as well. If you're thinking about making this investment ... definitely encourage you to do so! Read more Less
