    Great Phone

By HEATH P  Aug 19, 2008 | 14 out of 17 found this LG Vu (CU915) review helpful

Pros: great reception, great clarity, cool features

    Cons: No installed internal memory

I got this phone two weeks ago and must say, I love this phone! The only knock I would have on it is that it takes a little practice learning to navigate with it as it navigates completely by touch screen. Battery life is on par with my last phone ( ...A Nokia N-75) which means that I can go 1-2 days inbetween charging. Geat Phone for the price. This phone takes a standard micro SD card for memory. LG Vu A Must buy

By Shauna  Aug 6, 2008 | 9 out of 9 found this LG Vu (CU915) review helpful

    Pros: Too many to list

Cons: Short battery life if you use some features a lot

I love this phone. The touch screen takes some getting used to but once you get the hang of it it's great! The screen is so clear it's amazing. This is really easy to figure out, a few touches of the screen and you can do anything. If you hav...e ever used a computer with windows you can use this phone. Read more Less

    LG Vu exceeded expectations

By Blake  Sep 2, 2008 | 4 out of 4 found this LG Vu (CU915) review helpful

Pros: Easy to use, many options to personalize, durable

Cons: battery life CAN be a problem

There are several things that make this phone a good purchase. The touch screen and 3G network make everything you do a breeze. There are so many things you can change to make the phone unique and custom. I am not good at holding onto my phone and ha...ve dropped it many times without damaging the phone. but I would recommend a case. There arent many things that I don't like about this phone. A lot of people will tell you the battery life is a problem but its really not. Unless you stay on the web and text and talk alllll day on your phone, then your battery life will last just fine. With the phone going on sale I would definitely recommend getting this phone before its gone. I paid full price for mine and am still glad I made the choice that I did. LG did a good job on this one. Go check it out. Read more Less

awesome in theory, close to awesome in reality

By Jerry  Jun 16, 2008 | 4 out of 4 found this LG Vu (CU915) review helpful

Pros: qwerty, mobile tv, touchscreen, decent battery

Cons: hard to type, no physical keypad

the tv feature is awesome. AT&T needs more phones with this. It runs ok on their network, reception for LGs usually isn't that good, but this is reasonable. The price is way too much though, +/- $500 with no contract. If at&t drops the price (whi...ch they probably will to compete with 3G iphone) it'd be worth every penny. Wish it had a physical keyboard in addition to the virtual one though. Read more Less

    Interesting

By william v  Aug 19, 2008 | 5 out of 10 found this LG Vu (CU915) review helpful

    Pros: Fast internet,great visuals

    Cons: buttons,built-ln dict.

    I've found it very interesting.Internet,IMs,
Video and java qualitys are great.Text messaging and typing on querty board are a pain.If you have child like like digits, you will be fine.Using the built-in dictionary is a chore (if im using it right ...).The settings(TAbc,TABC,or Tabc) change a lot when using text.Multi-tasking(using text when on a call) takes some training.I found that the battery is ok.Camera, video recording is great. Im moving up from a flip phone ,so maybe its me,butI will manage.TV and video share is not available in some areas.A- Read more Less

    Disposable Phone $$$$

    By Kim  Nov 21, 2009

Pros: When touch screen works-it's nice & easy

Cons: Battery short life & after 2 phones in 4 mths touch screen slow to work if at all & DROPS CALLS!!

This phone has nice features. But my 1st one lasted 10 days- calls lasting 30 seconds and touch screen hanging up in last app. 2nd phone lasted just over 90 days doing the same as 1st one calls lasting 30 seconds touch hung up in last app..power off ...and the last app is active still. Not a good value for the money at all!!! This model is all ready replaced in stores..There's a reason it only marketed for 1 yr or so! Read more Less

    Freakn Awesome!

    By casper983  Nov 23, 2008

    Pros: Usability

    Cons: na right now

i was thinking about getting the iphone but i kept coming back to this one. i went to best buy and the guy said that the iphone doesn't take video and doens't do picture/video messaging and it would cost an additional almost $20 to get correc...t data plan. This phone is super awesome! it has more great features than possible to mention. i've had a sony ericsson the last 2 years and this phone is almost as easy to use. the texting takes a little to get used to. i paid less for this phone than the iphone and it has so much more capabilities. forget the iphone, just stick with this one! Pros: It is stylish and overall is pretty good

Cons: the video quality is bad and hard to type on the qwerty keyboard and even if add a memory card it wont allow you to set that as default memory.

Overall it is pretty good beside the cons i listed.

    Great Phone

    By Zach S  Sep 12, 2008

    Pros: Style (TV)

    Cons: Battery Life

The TV and picture though may not be necessary is excellent. The size and shape is more practical than the iPhone. Their goal in creating this phone was to make a cheaper iPhone and they nailed it. Though the iPhone may have more capabilities besides... TV, this phone excels in every way. The picture is incredible along with the picture taking quality. The only complaint I might have is battery life even though it will still last a decent amount of time. The touch screen can also get a little shaky. But all around an excellent phone and I think it compares very closely with the iPhone. Read more Less
