Perfect flip phone
Pros: sleek design, sturdy, more advanced than most flip phones
Cons: no touch screen, camera phone good but not great
I love this phone. I want an Iphone type phone now but when I bought this phone it was the best Verizon had. I would definetly recommend this for anyone that wants a flip phone that is sturdy. I will be sad to give this up actually.

i bouhgt this phone 2 weeks ago for my husband and one day when he was using it the phone blew up and my husband was dead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: stainless steel
Cons: battery life, blue tooth, Vorizon
I purchased this phone when I switched to Verizon Wireless. THe salesperson informed me that it was durable and that they had few customer complaints. Wrong!
I had the phone for one week when I started having connection problems with the blue tooth. Then it started eating batteries.
Six months later, two replacement phones later, endless discussions with Verizon, and I'm switching to another carrier and getting another phone.
Bottomline - if you see this phone advertised anywhere - RUN AWAY!Was this review helpful? Yes - Nophone is horrible
Pros: style, good photos
Cons: gets hot, poor battery life, many many problems
i wanted to like this phone but with the poor battery life (i've gone through 3 batteries and none keep the charge for more than a few hours of talking time), the fact that the phone gets super "hot" while talking on it (what's it doing to my brain) and the fact that i've been into the shop over and over for little problems with it...
i give up...time to try another phone.

I've had my phone for 6 months now and I LOVE it!! I've had many chances to change to a newer phone but I wont. This has been the best phone I have ever had. People complain about the bluetooth feature not working well... I have never had a problem with it and I use my bluetooth all the time. As far as the camera the pictures are pretty clear and im happy with them. The volume is good. I never have to worry about not hearing it ring. And its the perfect size to hold in your hand. AMAZING PHONE!! =)

After reading several reviews, I feel better about this phone that I am really trying to love. Initially had probs with voice activation, VZ replaceed phone. Phone gets really, really hot when talking for long periods of time, it has always been a pain to remove the cover to charge...ladies with nails, have a business card or tweezers ready to lift little door. I have already had 2 download patches for the Bluetooth problem, and it continues to drop calls!! This is VERY VERY aggrivating. Given the cost of the phone....it should NOT HAVE these problems, or at least LG or Verizon should accept some responsiblity for replacing 100% or giving FULL credit for another type of LG phone. I don't think the patch is working!!

I bought this phone after returning the wrong Razr's sent to me.
Since it looked cool and it stated many features. Bluetooth, 2.0 megapixel cam etc. I was convinced that this would be a nice all around cellphone.
But a key feature which doesn't work well, especially since I live in the Chicago, Il. area where driving with a phone in your ear will cost you $50 if your caught.
I took it to Verizon and they did a software update but within a week it returned to dropping calls, callers are unable to hear me, I have to reboot the phone everytime to sync. Try doing this at 65mph on the highway. It's more trouble than it's worth. After this contract I'm going back to Motorolas.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoGood looking phone but sucky bluetooth

I really like the looks of my VX8700. While I like the Metal theme, the animations do slow the phone down a bit. But I can live with that or change to classic Verizon theme.
Unfortunately, the bluetooth has been VERY problematic. I am on my 2nd Jawbone headset and when both are fully charged it will stay connected for about 30-60 minutes then start disconnecting. I think it is a signal strength issue. When I plug the phone into a charger in my car the bluetooth stays connected. Also, my phone seems to get fairly warm, and borderline hot, when on a call just below the battery. The bluetooth is really the most annoying feature on this phone.Was this review helpful? Yes - No
