    BEST PHONE EVER OWNED

    Pros: LOOKS

    Cons: CALL WAITING

I PURCHASED THE LG WHITE CHOCOLATE JUST 4 DAYS AGO AND I LOVE TO SEE THE REACTION OF PEOPLE WHEN THEY SEE ME USING IT...THEY DIDN'T KNOW THAT IPODS COULD BE USED AS A CELLPHONE...LOL I ALWAYS HAVE TO TELL PEOPLE THAN IT IS NOT AN IPOD. I WAS S...UPRISE TO READ THE REVIEWS FROM USERS ABOUT THE ORIGINAL LG CHOCOLATE FOR NOT HAVING A SPEAKERPHONE..BECAUSE THIS ONE HAS IT (MAYBE THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO USE IT) VERY LIGHT AND EASY TO USE. THE QUALITY OF PICTURES IS AMAZING. MY ONLY PROBLEM IS THE CALL WAITING FEATURE...I STILL DONT GET IT. I GUESS I WILL HAVE TO READ THE MANUAL AGAIN Read more Less

    Lovely phone

Pros: slim, sleek, sexy, and mp3...you'll also get a lot of OOO's and AAH's.

Cons: battery life, unable to lock individual applications such as text messaging

I wrote another review under the black chocolate thinking that yahoo didn't have the phone that I truly have which is the white one. This phone does have a speakerphone despite what others say. I love this phone and if you have problems with the ...touchpad then CHANGE THE SENSITIVITY LEVEL. When buying music accessories, don't expect them to come with the phone. Obviously you'll have to purchase them separately. But once you've got everything that you need the phone is great. The picture that is shown here of the White Chocolate is not the one that I have. I'm guessing that there are different models of it? Read more Less

    AHHH!

Pros: This phone has an attractive appearance

    Cons: It's HORRIBLE!

I purchased this phone in December of last year before anyone had one. I loved it! BUT, it was a Cingular version. It got the worst service imaginable because it was an "unlocked" phone. Therefore, I purchased another Pink Motorola SLVR. BA...D IDEA! The keys cracked and I sent it back and they kept it for TWO months! I had to use my old LG. As soon as i started re-using it, the screen was discolored, everytime i slid it open the screen would go white, the touch screen would only work when it was closed. It was a pain! AND it still had horrible service! I am very displeased with LG! Read more Less

    White looks better than Chocolate

By Bach Trang  Feb 23, 2007 | 2 out of 2 found this LG VX8500 White Chocolate review helpful

Pros: It seems like a perfect cellphone

    Cons: battery life

I think it's a good cellphone to use. It has many features and I think the design, price and many good things it has could make everybody mad about it. Ask a guy or a girl (whatever, random) they'll love it. Somebody thinks it's hard to u...se but if you're the person who can puts some of your time with it you'll see it has many interest things. Just its battery a little bit low but to use a phone like this we have to accept it. And if you like a long life battery so use Nokia. Read more Less

    LG KG 800 review

By Max  Jun 22, 2007 | 2 out of 3 found this LG VX8500 White Chocolate review helpful

Pros: looks great, thin, great video quality, touch sensors, gets people's attention

Cons: small memory, battery runs out quickly, can't create playlists

I have had the second generation LG chocolate for quite some time and I love it. it is much smaller than the originall LG Chocolate. This is the most sleek looking phone out on the market. no matter where you go people will ask to see it and touch it... and such. This phone is very simpe and easy to use. The touch pad is one of the greatest features of this phone, you no longer have to worry about accidentally making a call to china while the phone is in your pocket. the touch sensors outomaticly shut off when you slide the phone down, not only that bu there is no way you can call someone while it is in your pocket because the ouch pad only reacts to your skin. Finally the video quality of this phone is amazing. It records better than my camera. but i was dissapointed in the chocolates low battery life, and the unability to make your own playlists my finall words are if you lisen to alot of music then this phone is not for you because it can only fit about 30 songs, but if you record vido on your phone or you just want a very sleek looking phone the go out and buy an LG chocolate. It's definatley a phone worth getting Read more Less

By DavidF  Jun 11, 2007 | 1 out of 1 found this LG VX8500 White Chocolate review helpful

    Pros: The phone looks cool

Cons: Hard to use, high price

I was extremely excited when i recieved the White Chocolate for christmas, however as i used and got used to the phone i was extremely dissapointed. The touchpad was way too small, making texting and dialing very hard and even after owning the phone ...for several months i still found myself pressing the three or four buttons at once just because they are so small. The touchpads on the upper part of the phone were cool at first but became a neusance quickly. If the touch sensors even registered that i touched them half the time they would do the wrong thing, or call some random person. When the touch keys weren't calling people in my pocket or hanging up on somenbody just because i touched the phone to my cheek they would just stay in place and i would have to hang up the phone and start again if i wanted to complete the call. The Chocolate is about $100 with a four year contract, without one however the "retail" verizion charges is $400 dollars, an outrageous amount almost nobody would pay for a below average phone. The entire reason the Chocolate had so much hype and attention was its music. This too is a huge dissapointment. If you want to even listen to music you ither have to download it from V-Cast for about $2-$3 a song, or buy the $40 patch cord to get music from windows media player, (The only Player the phone will allow to put songs on it). You can't use normal headphones but have to buy an adapter or verizions own headphones made for this unit. The on board speaker isn't loud enough to hear in any public place and if you try to listen to music around your house you will find yourself holding the phone up to your ear just to hear it. Overall i was extremely dissapointed in this phone you have a much better bet in the KRZR or any other phone that won't cost you 400 plus dollars to operate properly, verizon screwed up on this one!!! LG KG800

By Sarah  Mar 4, 2007 | 1 out of 1 found this LG VX8500 White Chocolate review helpful

Pros: Ability to put your own pictures and music on the mobile

    Cons: None found so far

Ok I got this phone on a plan last september and so far it's pretty good. I've previously had a nokia and alcatel phone and this one is much easier to use. I have mine in black though and I'm in australia and it's called the LG KG800 ...but it could be different everywhere, mine doesn't have the speaker phone capability and yes I have checked the manual, the only thing I don't like about it is the selected message ringtones. I love that you can put a full song on it and select it as your ring tone. It's a pretty good camera as well. I like the select pad as it's easy to use. The only thing that really annoys me about this phone is that if I want to message someone in the middle of the night I have to turn my light on as the buttons don't light up which makes it hard to message, maybe it does do that and I'm yet to find how to change it so if you do know how to change it let me know. As for the battery life, I was given 2 batteries with my phone. I've still been using the original one that was put in it and it's pretty good, it can last 3 days before I have to charge it again! Pros: it looks cool, battery lasted a good amount of time, music player was nice, decent pics

Cons: the sensor is too sensitive even on highest setting, the slider is loose, cant set mp3s to ringtone, volume isnt loud enough... sometimes i have to use it on speaker just to hear with it up to my ear, the buttons are too close need to be seperate not one sheet of buttons
