    Don't buy this unit unless you like trouble!!

    Pros: great picture and sound

    Cons: slow to load, can't watch another tv channel while recording on dvr

    I purchase this model for all of it's so called features. Boy,was I disappointed. You cannot view a different tv channel while recording on the dvr. Very slow to load and read the dvd/cd. Started to give me problems about the 1 year mark. Cd'...s and dvd's would skip and stop. (Just in time for the warranty to run out). Unit has now totally failed. The picture now shows a distorted split screen on the tv in vcr or dvd mode. I contacted LG tech support and they told me that it is irrepairable. (My guess is that the tuner died) A $300 piece of junk. Do yourself a big favor and visit the other web sites and read the reviews. They show that 99% of these units have had problems.
