Extreme Contour Compensation (XCC) minimizes color contour noise for natural color transitions.

LG SimpLink allows for convenient control of other LG SimpLink products using the existing HDMI connection. Six distinct processes contribute to picture improvement. LG's XD Engine takes the low resolution of analog signals to near HD levels by improving brightness, contrast, detail and enhancing color as well as reducing signal noise. This total solution results in cinema-like high-resolution images.

Image sticking minimization provides protective measures to minimize damage as a result of stationary images.

    Pros: Shows a beautiful picture, looks good!

    Cons: Attracts lots of dust.

    I love this TV! The picture is really clear, the colors are very pretty. The tv has a pretty gloss to it, and the sound is really good. I haven't even hooked up the HD box to it yet and already have a beautiful sharp, clear picture. I highly reco...mmend it and will definitley buy my future 60" Plasma from LG as well. Read more Less
