    Worst TV I've ever owned!

    By Al W  Jun 3, 2009

    Pros: Cheap

Cons: LED stays on all night; Picture Quality the worst

I bought this TV and had to replace the picture board and then the mother board. The picture still was bad so I turned it back in and purchsed a Sony Bravia!

    SECOND TIME'S THE CHARM - I HOPE!!

    By Margaret  Jan 30, 2009

    Pros: SLEEK APPEARANCE

    Cons: SOUND

The first TV went back ... after wrangling with both the manufacturer and the place of purchase ( Boscov )for 5 days. 32 days after the TV was delivered to our home, it up and turned itself off and it was anyone's guess when we'd be able to t...urn it back on and for how long. The part requiring replacement was out of stock indefinitely at the authorized repair center and at the manufacturer. Therefore, we demanded a new TV and we were told no way, it's beyond 30 days. They expected us to wait until doomsday for the part to become available. After fighting with LG and Boscov for 5 days, Boscov finally agreed to pick up the original TV and deliver a new one to us. That was in December of 2007 and so far, so good with the second TV ( although I do think that the sound quality leaves something to be desired ... sometimes we have to crank it up to 100% and it still could be louder ). All things considered, would I ever buy another LG product? No, this experience has left me with a bad taste in my mouth for anything and everything LG. Nor would I ever buy another big ticket item from Boscov. There is no excuse for the aggravation that both LG and Boscov put us through over exchanging the first TV. Read more Less
