Super IPS Technology reduces common distortion and blurring caused by fast motion video and also provides one of the industry's widest viewing angles (178º).

LG SimpLink allows for convenient control of other LG SimpLink products using the existing HDMI connection. Six distinct processes contribute to picture improvement. LG's XD Engine takes the low resolution of analog signals to near HD levels by improving brightness, contrast, detail and enhancing color as well as reducing signal noise. This total solution results in cinema-like high-resolution images.

    Pros: Fantastic Image Qaulity

    Cons: Not a 1080p TV

    Ok I ended up buying this Television after my Nutec 42inch plasma ended up kicking the bucket. Bought it at Harvey Normans for approximatly $2000 Australian Dollars and it was compared to the Toshiba model which was around 200 bucks more expensive. T...his one came out with a three year warranty compared to the Toshiba's 1 year warranty. Overall on a side buy side comparision to the Toshiba, the LG had one hell of a great picture quality and similar if not identical features to the Toshiba TV. The Toshiba was no comparision running off its own settop box. Which pretty much swayed me into purchasing it. Overall this is what counts in my opinion. Running it of my XBOX 360 at 1080i is hard to imagine that it could get any better than this. Read more Less
