    Pros: Excellent picture

    Cons: Poor Service

    The Tv is excellent, I have had it for 6 months and the picture and sound went out one day. I called LG service and was told a repair person would be at my residence to fix it in 5 to seven days. 20 days later my TV still does not work and no one has... been to my residence to repair it. I have been given the run around by LG from the beginning. I have been intouch roughly 10 time since and my latest call I was told that because the part is not in stock I am being submitted for a product exchange which will take 15 to 20 days to process so it looks like I will be with out a TV for over 40 days. The worst part about the whole deal is the representatives from LG act as though they could care less. Despite the quality picture and over all performance of the TV I would reccommend another brand.     bought it from radio shack at a discount becasue it was a floor model......absolutely a great tv
    dont waste your money on other larger brand tvs get any of lg's

    Pros: Awesome Picture

    Cons: None

    I actually bought this TV opened boxed from a circuit city so I got it a little cheaper. I'm a college student so its great for my xbox360 and the cable for my computer is amazing I can type papers without squinting at my monitor. This TV is ...so versatile and the uses are endless, I was very happy to purchase this TV. It was pricey for me as a student but once I brought it home I knew it could not go back to the store, simply love this television. Read more Less

    Pros: best tv for the price bar none

    Cons: lack of minor features

    great tv for the price. the remote is a universal one that works with all other lg products. it has two hdmi inputs, two component set inputs, and two a/v inputs along with s video which is great for gaming, hdtv and hd dvd players. lacks minor featu...res like picture in picture and the newest model isnt as easy to tweek the settings as the older model was(i learned this because my house was robbed my old model was taken) Read more Less

    LG 37LC2D TV customer support & Quality

    Pros: Good picture - not as good as I expected

    Cons: Warranty Service is terrible

    Purchased in November 2006 from Best Buy. Quit working on Friday March 9th, 2007. I ended up disconnecting the TV and took it to the recommended repair center. (No one was able to come to my home for 3 weeks.). I called after a week and was told that... not only was there no picture but that the sound no longer worked. Had to order a part. I was just informed today, March 27th (of course I had to call) that the new part was installed but now they have to order another part that quit working. I called LG customer service to see if they would replace the TV. I was told that the set had to go through the repair process and if it couldn't be repaired after a month had passed then they would consider replacing the set. I guess the postive part is that at the rate they replace defective parts we will have a new tv just from the part replacements. If you are going to purchase this set don't be penny wise and pound foolish. Purchase an extended warranty but be sure it doesn't require you to deal with LG. We didn't and I wish we had. I was told by Circuit City that they replace the sets in their extended warranty. Consumers, we need to vote with our dollars. Look at another brand. Read more Less

    This TV seemed to have the most with it for the price. The picture quality is top notch versus some of the other more expensive brands. But shop around!! This TV can be purchased for 1199.00 at certain retailers! When I purchased it, it also came wit...h a LG $299.99 (est value) surround sound system for $0.00. Good luck! Read more Less
