My First HDTV

Cons: Not sure. This is my first HDTV

I got this 32LG30 TV "open box" at a good price. Since this is my first HDTV, this will be a good learning tool for me during the digital/HDTV transition.
This TV has lots of user adjustable features all around - picture controls for example. Also, quite a few switching operations must be done manually. That might be a pain for some, but an advantage for others since this allows you more control.
Presently, I have the TV connected to cable without the separate cable box. In the auto channel search mode, it may take quite a few minutes to find "all reachable" channels. In my case, the 32LG30 found over 130 channels. Some were duplicates while some others were "scrambled". But, I can remove those. I suspect that cable TV is in a shambles right now because of the DTV transition hence the reason for those unnecessary channels.
Again, this is my first HDTV. So it will be a learning tool as I make the transition to digital/HDTV. That said, the 32LG30 should serve my needs. BTW, anything that I scored as 3 are issues that are not important to me (Sound Quality) or I don't really know about (Quality and Support).
