LG SimpLink allows for convenient control of other LG SimpLink products using the existing HDMI connection. Six distinct processes contribute to picture improvement. LG's XD Engine takes the low resolution of analog signals to near HD levels by improving brightness, contrast, detail and enhancing color as well as reducing signal noise. This total solution results in cinema-like high-resolution images.

    Overall a good LCD TV

    Pros: Has the best screen quality in this segment.

    Cons: Price, sound quality, remote wil not control most digital cable boxes.

    I have had this TV for about 3 months now. As of right now I am completely satisfied with the TV and not having any major problems. I primarly use this TV to play games on my Playstation 3 and watch DVDs. The screen quality is surpassed my expectatio...ns after I got it home from the store months ago. My only suggestion to other people who get this TV is that you MUST INVEST IN A HDMI CABLE. Component, composet, and coaxial cables do not do this TV justice. My only complaint with this TV is with the Remote and the sound quality. The remote does not have codes for comcast digital cable receivers. For a TV that is $1000, the sound should be a little bit better. TV's that are alot cheaper, have the same sound quality. Besides those 2 things, LG has made an excellent product and everyone should go check it out at your local Best Buy or Circuit City. Read more Less
