LEGO Star Wars II for Nintendo DS includes many of the same features found in the console versions, albeit with touchscreen support and exclusive wireless functions. Players will choose from a variety of LEGOized characters as they attempt to end the Galactic Empire's tyrannical reign in a storyline that focuses on the Star Wars saga's first three films. As players progress through the story mode's familiar movie scenes, they can unlock more than 50 characters and share them with friends via wireless connection.

The bottom screen allows players to instantly swap characters in and out of the party to take advantage of their special abilities and skills. The camera can also be manipulated using the touch interface, with players able to customize characters for the game's "free play" mode as well. Wireless features include both a twoplayer cooperative option and a fourplayer versus mode set in Jabba the Hutt's palace. The versus mode involves a race to capture Han Solo in carbonite using a choice of bounty hunters, including Boba Fett and IG88. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide

    Pros: a soild game that tells the tale of the 3 star wars films, multi players is great (when it works) its nice long leanth

    Cons: it's sooooooooo buggey

    This game has the game paly and the attude. But not the game paly. The game gets super buggey at times. Like geting stuck in a place, or it freezes, or a place disapera, theres also some AI problems. The leavels are nicely done and the action is good... too. Multi player is great when it works. There co op and death matches. But multi player wil lsuffer from some game wreaking bugs. The game was rushed and ferlls unfinished. Buying it would only be a wast of money Read more Less
