    Excellent film, beautiful cinematography and music, very good acting (for the most part). The Greek drama ending and especially music from "Rinaldo" (sublime) in the finale is a stroke of genius.This is a great film, of a sort where the greatness is ...difficult to capture in words, one must see it to realise that.     I was fortunate enough to see this at Sundance before all the controversy over the film's ridiculous and upsetting rating of an NC-17 killed it's chances of the audiences it deserved to play for. A daring and highly eclectic coming of age tale that ...doesn't blind side the truth and lies of it's characters. A raw, realistic and believable story more worthy of Oscar consideration than the indie hit In the Bedroom. This film is not for anyone looking for "just a flick to catch." This film is for people who wish to catch a slice of life the way it really is. Ecpect great things from Michael Cuesta, the independent filmmaker's Sam Mendes! Read more Less
