Pros: Crime Conspiracy, Great Cast, Excellent Film

    Cons: Lengthy, Danny DeVito

When I saw the preview for this movie, I thought it looked riddiculous. Boy, was I wrong. This is an awesome story of corruption in the 1950's LAPD. Russel Crowe and Guy Pearce were relative unknowns before their inclusion in this masterpiece. This movie is, in a word, awesome. It's got a good plot and solid performances by everyone. The score is top notch, and the costumes and seeting are so retro and so modern...it's wonderful. Stop reading, and go see it!
