When I saw the preview for this movie, I thought it looked riddiculous. Boy, was I wrong. This is an awesome story of corruption in the 1950's LAPD. Russel Crowe and Guy Pearce were relative unknowns before their inclusion in this masterpiece. Filled with twists and turns, conflicting alliances, and a complicated plot, "LA Confidential" is a must-see movie combination of crime, noir, and art. Kind of like "The Usual Suspects", except considerably more linear. ...
