Kyle Hunt grew up in the small town of Rice in central Texas. He didn't give much thought to making music for a living until he heard a tape of Robert Earl Keen at a construction site where Hunt was working. Keen's music inspired Hunt to take a hard look at the Texas music scene, and he began singing and playing anywhere he could. He began writing songs with his father, Steve Hunt, and formed the Kyle Hunt Band, which included drummer Jacob Williams, guitarist Rex Griffith, and bassist Colt...
