Kraut was an early New York hardcore quartet that made its name on the scene in 1981 opening for the Clash. Including vocalist Davy Gunner, guitarist Doug Holland, and drummer Johnny Feedback, Kraut recorded its debut album, An Adjustment to Society, in 1982, with guest appearances by the Sex Pistols' Steve Jones on guitar.
