Pros: So easy to use
Cons: None so far
I bought this a few weeks ago after owning a Canon for 2 years. This beats it by far! I took my family to Disney World and this created priceless photos. I am confident in recommending it to anyone.
Pros: features
Cons: poor pics in dimly lit areas
great little cam. poor photos in dim situations, very grainy even with a tripod. lens cover sticks once in a while. 4/5 over all
Pros: Quality pictures, long battery life, ease of use
Cons: What's not to like
I was afraid to switch from my 35mm but am I glad I did.
At my age digital seemed too confusing. Nothing could be easier than this plus the pictures are beautiful.
Pros: Easy to use, Great pictures, Huge screen,No waiting
Cons: none
I did my studying before buying any new camera since I had bad experiences in the past, stay away from sony cameras, canons are good, but for the money this camera is sturdy easy to use and the pictures are fantastic, the batterie life is long and thats another plus. There is no waiting to take pictures from one shot to another like alot of other cameras just snap away even at moving objects it catches it all.
Pros: auto + manual + quick + marvellous image quality
Cons: none
I read all about digital cameras before buying mine and I'm quite satisfied with my decision. The lcd is 2.2 inches, and it has much much more pixels than most of 2.5, 2.0 and 1.8 inch lcd digital cameras which makes the pictures you take live, detailed and excellently clear. You can take pictures both in auto and manual modes, besides there are a lot of modes that are previously arranged for various scenes such as party/ sports (moving objects)/ portrait/ landscape and all af them are very helpfull. You cannot miss anything, it can take 30 photos in 2 seconds. Video time is only limited to the SD you will buy and video option is quite satisfactory. It is at first hard to hold the camera, as it's not quite ergonomic, but you get used to it very quickly. To use the camera is very easy, the manual is clearly written. It is a great camera. I honestly very much recommend this camera, it is quite impressive compared to its price.
Pros: not too expensive
Cons: very cheap material
I bought an easyshare camera a few months ago and it stopped working after the 4th time I used it. At first the LCD sreen became distorted and then the camera just would not turn on. The problem with the Kodak camera's is they are very cheaply made. Just pick one up, and then pick up a similar canon or sony camera. The Kodak is very light and the encasing on these cameras are a very thin cheap plastic. Not very durable. The camera has a lot of nice functions, but it is just too cheaply made. My next camera will be a canon. I use a canon at work under harsh field conditions and it has never let me down.
My experience with Kodak's customer support was a horrible. I sent the camera back to them and they said they would not fix the camera but instead would give me a discount on the purchase of another kodak camera. There was no discount. When I looked at the prices on-line, I discovered I could have bought the same replacement kodak camera cheaper than what Kodak was going to sell to me with a discount! Plus - Kodak was going to charge me shipping and $50.00 for "looking at my camera"!
If you plan on purchasing a digital Camera, I would recommend that you stay away from the Kodak models.
Pros: Fast response, Large LCD, Manual controls, 4X Zoom
Cons: Lousy cable lid, Jog Dial Lock and third class controlls
Well, as the given feature set this camera is worth it. But Kodak's placement of buttons and the meterials are not that great.
Say, zoom buttons should have place under the thumb rather than together with the shutter button.
Jog dial lock is cumbersome to unlock. It will break over the use. Joystick is nice but lack the tactickle feed back when you press it. Directioning is OK.
The hard rubber case which covers the cables is the lousiest part. You need both hands to lift it and plug the cables. It's so tight you might drop the camera if you are not careful with it.
Pictures are actually darker that what you see in the LCD.
Anyway this camera has lot of manual settings if you can master them. Auto setting are good for general picture taking though it's not suffient when in low light conditions.
Video zooming is not possible. Waste of so called good lenses and 4X zoom if you take videos. There is not much difference in Fine and standard mode so better not waste the memory for fine mode for pictures.
Pictures have a little yellow cast even in good light. Over exposure is possible in sunlight (Auto).
Date and time settings will go if you remove the battery. If you gotta one battey you can't charge it while in the camera that makes everytime you have to set the time when you remove it to charge. (will AC Adaptor solve this?)
Other than that rest of it this is a good camera for easy of use.
Pros: Ease of use, large LCD 4X optical zoom
Cons: None
With a printer camera dock this is an exceptionally easy to use camera that makes top quality photo prints. The 4X optical zoom is just great! Charge the battery and go take photos right out of the box. the software installed in one try and interfaces easy with the Camera.
Pros: Easy to use, Great Pictures, Very versitile
Cons: None so far
I purchased this camera the day before my family and I went on a 7 day caribbean cruise. I took about 150 pictures with my 256 memory card and still had plenty of capacity left. The pictures varied from inside to outdoor, landscapes to people, stills to action shots and the camera performed great. I did some research and found that 4MP was plenty of resolution for what I was doing and that amount would allow me to take great pictures without eating up all my memory. I liked the large LCD display, the highly touted lense, and the ease of use factor considering this was my first digital camera. For a first timer this is a great camera. For a more seasoned photog, this camera can do most anything. This camera seems to be built better than other Kodak models I looked at as well. I looked at Canon, Nikon, and Sony. They were all good, but this one seemed to have everything I wanted without any negatives. It's worked great for me. Would I buy it again? Definitely!

From printing on the docking station to point and shoot.Awsome, my 6 year old son can take excellent pictures with this camera, no kidding, no lie,.Everything you need to know is on the large screen on back of the camera. The joy - stick operation is cool.I asked for the most user friendly camera and this is it. Priced great!Zoom feature is excellent.Couldn't be happier, buy this camera , you won't be dissapointed.

Pros: User friendly, light weight, great pics
Cons: None so far
I just bought this camera today and so far it's great. The software is easy to install and to work with as well. The camera itself is very user friendly and lets you choose a ton of different ways to take a picture with ease. With cameras in the past, I was always looking stuff up in the manual on the best settings for a particular shot. Not with this one. The LCD screen is nice and big as well.
I chose the 4/4 primarily because of the zoom. Anything past 4x got to be really expensive. This seems to zoom and stay very clear and focused.
I opted not to purchase the printer dock. I was told the ink runs out fast and the paper isn't cheap. Besides, I use Ofoto to buy my photos after they are uploaded. It's easy and inexpensive. Plus you don't have to leave home!
So far this is a great camera. Look forward to using it more along with its creative software.
