    Pros: Remarkable pictures, great night/ low light shots, unbelievable clarity, easy to use, many great features and settings, panoramic shots, great zoom

    Cons: no camera dock like older models, computer software issues

    I love to take as many pictures as possible. The first Kodak I had was the LS443 and took over 13,000 pics with it. I needed something that would take better night/ low light pics and would take pics as you see them with your own eyes..... this camer...a does it, and with the best clarity. A friend of mine works for a professional photog company and even some of the pics this takes are comparable. The zoom is amazing, and the easy to use functionability. The aperature and ISO settings allow you to take much better pics with low noise levels. I shopped for 6 months between this and a Panasonic, and after playing with both, the Kodak wins. I recommend this camera for ANYONE, whether they be 9 years old, amateur, or even professional..... outstanding!!!! Read more Less

    I Love My Z 712 IS

    I love using my Kodak Z 712 IS. I needed a new camera of better quality than my Kodak EasyShare 330 before I made a trip to Holland. I loved the ES 330 but I felt like I was missing the far off shots because I didn't have enough zoom to reach ou ...there. (Funny thing to say for someone that shoots macro at 2" or less 98% of the time. It was the other 2% that I was missing the zoom and I really have it with the 12 X Optical Zoom on the Z 712 IS. I really like that it can be point & shoot automatic or I can go fully manual and experience what real photography is all about. I'm still learning the manual settings. You will get my Kodak Z 712 IS when you pry my cold, dead fingers from around it. I couldn't be happier with any other camera for the same price and the value and quality are exceptional. This is my second Kodak and I just bought another Kodak for my daughter. I guess there is a good reason that Kodak has been the industry standard for so many years and generations. I actually have been able to start shooting professional using this camera which will help me move up to the professional camera that I want. Read more Less

    Pros: Could have been a good camera

    Cons: Kodak is not honorable

    I sent my new camera in for repairs. They said they found corrosion and voided the warranty. I paid for postage to send it to them and they said if I do not want to pay the $100.00 for repairs then I would have to pay them $35.00 for them to send it ...back. Go figure-this camera had only been used a couple of times and kept in case at all times. Read more Less

    Pros: great quality pics and video, brilliant 12X zoom

    Cons: very slow shot to shot, poor quality sound on video

    a well made camera with good quality pics and video but sound i found to be distorted, zoom is great too, small enough to fit in a pocket and lightweight, very easy to use, my dislike is the time it takes to store a pic, terribly slowwww, i think in ...the region of 1.5 seconds, if u dont mind waiting to take a second shot then this is a great little camera Read more Less

    I am a Kodak camera lover and this camera is absolutely wonderful! I have had no problems with it and would recommend it to anyone! For it's size, it is lightweight and the grip makes it easy to handle!

    Pros: Fast to take pictures, battery life good, good color

    Cons: Rechargeable Battery wasn't available, poor quality flash unit-

    Love this camera, but have found out it does have a weak design in its flash unit (Replaced once already! Thanks "Geek Squad" at Best buy. And I had insurance too! lol). The other thing, took forever it seemed before a rechargeable battery ...was finally made available! Other than those things, great unit. Only paid $225.00 for it too! Read more Less

    Pros: awesome pictures, comfort grip,ease of use/features

    Cons: can't name any

    I am a Kodak camera lover and this camera is absolutely fantasic! I have had no problems with it and would recommend it to anyone! it's size, it is lightweight the grip makes it easy to handle! The Features are great. I do alot of panoramic pics,... matches 2 0r 3 shots together when ready to complete larger scene, what a feature, prints are great. Can put on lens extender with additional wide angle and zoom lens higher power with filters on them. Great! I've made a high price camera out of a smaller investment. I take lots of pic. Have a 500 gb external drive just for pic storage. Highly recommend Read more Less
