Pros: battery type and life ease of use size and weight

Cons: shutter a little slow,no seperate view finder hard in bright light.

I needed a new camera for a mission trip to Panama. I knew I'd be spending 4 days in a remote location, power is not dependable but the rain forrest is breathtaking. This camera worked beautifully. It is easy to carry , weighs almost nothing and ...holds a charge for ages. I took over 200 pics and reviewed some several times in between charges. I love that I don't have to buy batteries for it, I can just charge it up like I do my cell phone. The quality of the 10mp pix are amazing. Everyone else on this trip with a small digital were jealous of mine. The only ones not were those with nice, big , really good cameras. I'm very pleased with the price and the size so I can just slip it in my purse or pocket and have it handy anytime, anyplace. No regrets after a good test. Read more Less

Pros: Cost, 10MB max reso, lots of settings, image stabilization

Cons: Using the full 10MB per shot eats up a lot of internal memory. I'm not too keen on the software.

Was looking for a camera to take with me for various outings. Something small enough to carry easily. I wanted the image stabilization for "action" shots, either me moving or the subject moving. I figured having the option of up to 10MB wou...ld be good for nice detail, I'm not going to make photos with this, I'm going to be using this with a 21 inch monitor. Why be limited to something that is specifically built to take 3x5 photos? There are plenty of settings that still need some exploring. I wasn't liking the software because of the registration process that creates a Kodak album which tries to upload your photos. I prefer to use my computer's built in device controllers for getting my pictures out. Memory cards are fairly inexpensive, so having a spare shouldn't limit your photo opportunities. The Li-Ion battery holds a charge for quite some time, so it's almost always ready to use. If batteries are a concern, there are probably spare batteries available as a backup option for you more hardcore photobugs. Of course these types of camera users already would have this in mind. I've not run out of memory yet using a 2GB memory card, nor has the battery failed in the "field". I don't take many pictures, but feel confident it would last a weekend if necessary. Read more Less
