Pros: Small, Big Screen, More scene options
Cons: Shutter sticks, Grainy Pictures at 8.1MP
This camera is ok. My DX4650 5MP took better quality photos. I But overall The C840 has a faster response time then what I am used to. The Video is OK too. But when zooming in Video mode the audio cuts out every frame it is zooming.
Overall I like the C813 but I wish it had a better quality picture
Pros: EVERYTHING
Cons: NONE
It came with NO manual, NO USB Cable, NO strap, NO nothing except the camera itself. I got it for about $70.00 at the Bayside Expo Liquidation Sale in Boston, MA. What is WIERD about it - until I find a FREE online manual for it - it won't play sound (it plays sound on computer and video sites). Also, when you do not use 2 AA Rechargeable Batteries, they are "PIGS" on batteries.
Pros: Very easy to use.
Cons: Uses up batteries too fast. I recommend using rechargable ones for this.
I got it the Monday after Christmas as a present to myself. Very easy to use. I have taken lots of pictures at work and around the neighborhood.
Pros: cheap, easy to use, takes great pictures, easy to upload
Cons: haveing to replace the batteries alot.
well this is my first kodak camera and i loveee it. :)
i open the box put the batteries in (which were included) and then put my memory card and i was all set to go.
i love it how you can edit the pictures on the camera and edit it even more on the software it come with.
the software is so cool, you can do fun effects and even make the picture different colours.
i would highly recommend this camera to anyone for a great affordable camera:)
trust me on this one.
Pros: good quality even blown up
Cons: software took a while to work
ok, so i got this camera on my birthday. and it started working on my birthday. it took half the day to figure out the software. when i finally did figure it out, it was easy. there's a lot of features i don't want, like greeting card stuff (in the software.) the camera itself is great. you can experament with all the settings and stuff. i would totally recommend this camera, but if you can, get the $400 kind. they're way better, and you can do a lot more with them. it's a little bit hard to see the screen in super bright sun, but i don't do a lot in super bright sun. i got a 2 year warranty at circuit city. they're awesome.
good for people who aren't really serious about photography
another thing, the first batteries are suckish, so put some duracell in instead.
Pros: Low cost, faster than expected, point and click
Cons: Dismal in low light; hard to force "correct" focus point; no optical view finder; cannot see screen in sunlight
I bought this camera as a disposable. I am a sailor and expect it to last a year or so (read this: "Hope I get a year or so!").
A few things that I like:
* Low cost. I got this for $88 plus $19 for an Ultra Speed 2GB SD card. Being low cost, it starts looking a little disposable.
* Faster than expected. This camera takes a picture in fair light in less than half second, which seems reasonable for a point and shoot. Startup seems to be fair as well.
* Point and click. Well, I wanted a point an click, and this camera definitely fits the bill.
* Great battery life! I took three hundred pictures with rechargeable AA 2500mAh batteries before the indicator even suggested I needed to replace the batteries!
A few negatives:
* No optical view finder. Sometimes it would be nice to have an optical view finder, such as in high light areas.
* View screen cannot be seen in sunlight. If it had an optical view finder, there would be no issue, but there is no optical.
* Speed to slow in low light. This camera takes forever if there is not significant light.
* Hard to focus. There is no indication for focus area (Canon, for example, casts a red light to help on focus). This camera just has trouble finding the correct area to focus.
* Uses that goofy micro-USB connection. This is the only device I own that uses a micro-USB connection, and therefore I have to carry around a cable just for this device.

Pros: Great value for the money
Cons: Ain't found any
When I was looking for a digital camera last month I found this at Wal-Mart for $119.00. I looked elsewhere and found it at Best Buy for $99.00, plus it came with a carring bag, two sets of rechargable batteries and a charger, a $50.00 value for free.
This camers does everything I need it to do plus a lot more. I'm totaly happy with it.
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: The price depending on where you bought it.
It bought this camera as a gift to myself in Dec of 07@ walmart for $89.00. It was great. I went to all the other stores to compare prices and features. Kodak easy share C813 stood out in my mind. My husband and my mother are camera fans. Even they where at such an awe, with functions, and price. I took a ton of picture, and I still do. My pictures come out wonderful. I love my camera. Please always research before buying any product.
Pros: Easy to use. Great picture. User friendly
Cons: none
This is my 4th Kodak Easyshare camera. Got it on sale for $95.00. Does everything I want it for. I use it for work and is easy to download with the Kodak programming. For the money, you cann't beat Kodak cameras.
