Knowledge Adventure JumpStart Advanced: 3rd Grade [2006]

Based on scientific research, JumpStart Advanced 3rd Grade teaches children in a style that works best for them. The game is designed to identify your child's learning style with the "Learning Profiler," which asks kids to pick one of seven styles including the athlete, the reader, the team leader, and the artist. After a child is grouped, they can explore four areas: "Fundamentals," "FarOut Field Trips," "Mystery Club," and "Language Arts Challenge."

"Fundamentals" features a crazed scientist named Polly who has a sinister plan to meddle with time. Children must utilize science and math skills to stop Polly by solving a number of puzzles. " FarOut Field Trips" includes such activities as white water rafting and visiting underwater worlds, while reinforcing skills in history, art, and more. The "Mystery Club" features ten cases and 60 clues kids need to decipher in order to uncover the culprit behind the foul play. "Language Arts Challenge" is a quiz game that requires fast thinking, and will test children in the areas of history, language, and arts. ~ Gracie Leach, All Game Guide
