Pros: Value, sound, quality

Cons: Mounts are a bit limiting.

I have used quintets for 3 years now. They are truly amazing. To my ears they are the equal any satellite speaker system by any manufacturer. This comes with caveats though. For my H/T system upgraded the center channel to the next larger offerin...g. The "standard" center channel sounded tinny to me. Also, I went with a different manufacturer for the sub. I am just picky about the sound of the sub and I didn't like the sound of Klipsch subs.Musically the quints are superb at reproducing sound without the normal oddities of speakers in their weight class. My music tastes range from Rat Pack, J. S. Bach, B.B. King, The Doors, and Techno (Kids!). I have listened to many systems in the past years and only once said, "That is much better than what I have". That was a $8,000 B and W system. I frequently listen at very high volume levels. The grills do fall off on occasion. Put them back when you are through. Put rubber feet on any pictures/mirrors on the wall (they will rattle otherwise). You will also find other things that are loose in the room. You will have to deal with that on your own.My recommendation in short is: Buy these! Buy them now and just smile nicely at the poor saps that spent twice as much as you did for less performance. Read more Less
