Ok, I'm biased, I own one pair of Klipsch ProMedia Ulta 5.1's, a pair of ProMedia ultra 2.0's for the kitchen and two pair of the Promedia 2.1's, for my office.

The Promedia 2.1's are THX certified and have both tremendous dynamic range and the capability to sustain 106 db steady state output. I run two pair of these speakers in a quadrophonic mode and get tremendous, room filling output. Powerfull bass and wonderful clarity in the midrange and highs are the hallmark of this excellent system

There is nothing close to the price range of these speakers that compare in terms of sheer sound quality. Side by side, there is nothing on the shelves at major retailors that holds a candle to these speaker.

Pros: High quality sound, price.

Cons: Not enough sub.

My friend purchased this for his dorm room. His roomate was not cool and would blast his 2.1 bose speakers over my friends dell speakers. So my friend bought this and when his roomate would try to blast his music over his... his roomate had no chance. It sounds awesome when its blasted, and when its not. Has great sounding highs to lows. If you are looking for computer speakers either get the 2.1 promedia or the 5.1. But get a klipsch, you wont be dissapointed. However the sub is weak, but what the sub misses the speakers make up for.

Pros: beautifully made to soothe your ear, sounds great perfect for muzik n moviezzz A perfect entertainment

Cons: have to be a bit careful with the ps2 cable (which goes in woofer from the speaker) if you break it dont worry about it you just have 2 buy a control pod from klipsch.com on the product section

Pros: great sound and a very powerful bass

Cons: power button located on subwoofer, thats it

this is an amazing product. if youre looking for a 2.1 setup, then this is it. it has amazing bass due to its huge subwoofer. and the 2 speaker themselves are loud. very crisp and clear sound. and a nice sound card and youre in music heaven.

Pros: Best Sound Quality Out There For My Laptop

Cons: No on/off button, could have better speaker connections.

This is by far the best sounding computer speaker setup that is readily available to the public. It has the THX certification plus a true 2 way sattelite speaker system with a seperate sub. The sound is well balance with a smooth crossover point. Without getting in specifics, it sounds great and is well worth the $150 price tag.

broke down after 20 months-they would fix it for $40+$20 shipping---came back didn't work--sent it in again no additional charge --came back still broke!!! pretty spendy for 20 months worth---buyer beware
