    About the above review

Pros: This is a 2GB model

Cons: Let me explain why it says 1.86GB

The manufacturers is storage devices (whether it Ipods, USB drives, Harddrives, etc.) quote the storage capacity on a model where 1GB = 1,000,000,000bytes. In reality, 1GB = 1073741824bytes (this is how the computer reads it). They base this off 1kil...obyte equalling 1,000 bytes. 1kilobyte really equals 1,024bytes. So, if 2GB = 2,000,000,000bytes by the manufacturers specs and 2GB really equals 2,147,483,648bytes, you can see why the computer reads it as a 1.86GB drive and not a 2GB drive. Hopefully that helps you understand. Read more Less

Pros: VERY durable, fast, portable, easy to use

Cons: says its 2GB, while mine only has 1.86GB

If you want a flash drive that is not very expensive, but you want as much storage capacity as possible, this one is for you. I bought mine from Office Depot for $26 and it is serving me well so far. Of course, it only has 1.86 GB instead of 2, but t...hat's understandable (the same is true with iPods) This thing just works great! I enjoyed shopping for a Kingston flash drive. All of the "DataTraveller" kind was color coded according to its size. This was useful for me. I did try, however, to use it too fast, so as soon as I plugged it in, I tried to use it, and I had to reload the driver because I got Code 1 problems - this device is not configured properly. The driver hadn't even time to download the driver. But that was my fault, not the product's. By the way, it DOES come with a keychain string, even though the picture doesn't show it. Read more Less
