Jay-Z returned with his comeback album on November 21, 2006 titled Kingdom Come.[7] Jay-Z's comeback single, "Show Me What You Got", was leaked on the Internet in early October 2006, scheduled to be released later on that month, received heavy air-play after its leak, causing the FBI to step in and investigate.[8] Jay-Z worked with video director Hype Williams, and the single's video was directed by F. Gary Gray (Friday, The Italian Job). The album features producers such as Pharrell Williams, Kanye West, Dr. Dre and Coldplay's Chris Martin (single entitled "Beach Chair").[9][10] This album has already sold 2 million copies in the US alone. Jay-Z made a guest appearance on the new Fall Out Boy album Infinity On High.

This is not the best album in the world. I only heard some of the clips in the songs, but not the type of Jay-Z music that was looking for. Some songs that I like is "The Prelude", "Minority Report", and "Lost Ones", but the other songs on the album, GARBAGE!!!!!!! 2 stars up.

Pros: Its a Jay-z album thats all I need to say.
Cons: You have to let the songs grow on you.
It took me a while to write a review for Kingdom Come bucause as a Jay-z fan it took a while for the songs to grow on me. I am used to putting in Jay-z cd's and finding songs that I liked off the bat. This time it took a min, for days I just listen to the track 1 and show me what you got but now I can listen to all of the album front to back. Its a good cd with a new sound that only Hova can pull off!!!

Pros: hov's a great lyricist
Cons: i still hate 'show me what you got'
so i wasn't a jay-z fan before but someone gave me the c.d. and i hate to admit that i love it.
overall, it's a good album and i can put it into rotation without skipping most of the songs, which is a plus for me. my favorite cuts are 'hollywood', 'lost one', 'do u wanna ride', and '30 something' (30's the nw twenty baby!). 'beach chair' and 'i made it' have honorable mention.
although i'm still a nas fan (but this latest effort sucks compared to previous hits like god's son, illmatic, stillmatic...), i must say that i'm seeing why the people love hov so much. his flow is tight...kingdom come is definitely worth buyingWas this review helpful? Yes - NoOh My God, HOV!

Jay-Z returned out of retirement (we all knew he would) with another banger album. Honestly, this album seems to get better everytime I listen to it. I must admit, at first, I expected this album to be a little better than what I thought. Since than I have listened to it over an over and it has grown on me each time. It is not Jay-Z's best album (cause he got so many good ones) But this album still is better 95% of all the hip hop albums out there. The beats are nice and hard, with Just Blaze and Dr. Dre lighting up the production. Some of Jay-Z's lyrics may blow your mind, and he also has some interesting messages within.

for those true jay-z fans out there, this should without a doubt be in your collection. he's given us another glimpse into his world. so now, 30 is the new 20!!! the roc is definitely in the building!!!

JAY Z is still the man and still the Michael Jorden or RAP. His latest album is a reflection of where he is currently at in life. If you are a ture Jay Z fan then you will love his latest addition to his legacy.
