    Pros: very good acting and realistic plot

    this movie is so good. it's raw, gritty and straight to the point. also, it's funny. the stars in the movie have come so far. fisburne in the matrix, walken has done many movies and even appeared in the fatboy slim music video, curuso in c...si-miami, and snipes has appeared in many movies as well. all of them are great actors tnat i constantly keep an eye out for their next venture.     b/c now it's on DVD. This movie is hardcore. Christopher Walken is always good and you love to see him as a mob boss. Lawrence Fishburn gets his role to a tee; he's a better Samuel Jackson.Who's better, the cops or gangs?This movie seems to capture ...the essence of NYC; some of the shots are downright eerie (going over the Washington (?) bridge)...Bad Lieutenant gets all the press, and it's probably slightly better, but this movie will surely delight.     I wanted to give it a five, but it isn't available on DVD so I couldn't. Walken, Fishburn, and company are hardcore. Even the cops are tough. It's too bad I had to watch this movie with only one eye during the absurdly early hours of the morning.
