Pro Reviews: Kill Kill Kill

So this is what happened to Old Skull, they grew up and became Anti-Flag. But in all seriousness though, "Kill Kill Kill" is filled to the brim with upside down flags, middle fingers and rambunctious teenage angst. Anti-Flag make no quarels that they're not happy with their Americana surroundings -sure they could move out if they're that unhappy, but there's that first step of moving out of their parents house. Lots of early UK punk and OI influences present -ala The Exploided, Cockney Rejects, The Business, UK Subs, etc.- plus a lot of the usual "unite and fight, " "save our scene, " "kill the rich" brand of lyrics that can appeal to anyone who isn't old enough to get into 18 and over shows. But all in all, it's nice to see that they don't believe in the Crass ethics of punk being dead.
