not as much action as the first. the ending was stupid. THere are a few loose ends tied up. THe snake scene and fight between Uma adn Darryl was cool.

Kill Bill Vol. 2 is a good movie overall. It explains everything you wanted to know about the first movie, but it just doesn't feel like its own movie.
There's a lot of interesting parts (like how the bride learnt how to fight like that!!)
The soundtrack is pretty good ;) There isn't that much fighting, but it focuses more on the characters :)

Pros: Great characters, superb story telling, awesome action
Cons: You need to see Vol 1. first
Although I wasn't that impressed with Vol. 1, Vol. 2 fills in all the holes, storyline, and definition of characters. This movie MUST be considered (with Vol 1) as one long movie, and as that, is probably QT's best film to date or at least on par with Pulp Fiction.
While Vol 1. was a little confusing and too cute for its own good, Vol 2. makes all of that nonsense make total sense, and in doing that takes us through a remarkable story. All the little things QT is known for are all over this second part of Kill Bill. I loved it as a whole, and consider Kill Bill as a gigantic success again for Tarantino. And now, if he would get to work on the Pulp Fiction Prequel.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoKill Bill II ?

Does not even come close to the Kill Bill I in action. Half of the movie is reaccounts of 1st movie. I was very disappointed in this movie compared to part 1. To sum it up in a nutshell SUCKED.

I was really blown away by this movie, becase not only did it have Tarintino's action and fighting it was in depth with the emotional ties. I was at first suppriseed by the lack of action but it is quickly made up by better telling of the sory and emotional involvment. The first movie which was nearly all action, even in the story telling blends nicely whith the second moving, with less action and more talking. And for all people who enjoy Tarintino's work for the action there is an awsome and dramatic fight scenses which takes place between Elle and The Bride. Although less blood it's still satisfying and becase of the wonderful blending of this movie i can't help but give it two thumbs up.

I hope there's gonna be a Spec Edition.There has to be more extras that Quentin has kept from Us.The action is much more tame than Vol.1. And I'm not spoiling anything.....but......the showdown between The Bride & Bill was a real letdown !! I expected the greatest fight of all.....and it wasn't !!!! Even though I was disappointed....I still love the Film. Come on Quentin !!!! Let Us know when the special edition is coming !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: Awesome action and great humor.
Cons: only one deleted scene.
The visual effects were great! The music on the soundtrack was perfect. In my opinion this & Vol. 1 are a must own combo.

Although I haven't actually bought the DVD, that would be stupid because in a few months maybe a year the special edition DVD with both movies together and crap loads of extras, like in PULP FICTION, will be released, but the movie is great and if you already have the first one, what the hell, buy this one all you little consumer sheep. But I love the movie Quentin is great at taking what works in other genres and mixing them together to creat a type of modern mythology in a style that is all his own but pieced together from some of the greats. If you like action, the first half definately out ranks the second half but in story and great acting, the second half takes the cake. Every scene can stand on it's own and together they form the best movie of the year. A++ to the master of the generation.

Great Movie, I just wish I could have seen more action from Gordon Liu! And good grief!! The extras on the DVD aren't all that great Mr. Tarantino. I know good and well, based on your work in the past you had to have had more and better deleted scenes than that! You know how upset I was to see Michael Jai White appear in a deleted scene! I did not need to see a "Brotha" playing a Hong Kong bad guy and I'm Black! Please, when you re-release the two volumes (and you know you are going to) quench our thirst properly. Though very sexy, I do not need to see the "5,6,7,& 8s" nor did I have to Chingon...WHO CARES. With the lack of features you not only Killed Bill but you slightly Killed My Interest.

Pros: Tells the rest of a story
Cons: Feels like the rest of a story, not its own movie
While Kill Bill as a whole is Tarantino's best film yet, when it is broken in two, it suffers. Kill Bill VOL 2 is good as the second half of a larger story. It has a little trouble standing on its own and the climax is... well, anti-climactic. Great performance abound, especially Uma Thurman and David Carradine. It just should have been released as one movie.

This was a fantastic movie, definitely as entertaining as Kill Bill 1, though this movie goes in to the background of the characters more. This is one of my most favorite movies, along with Kill Bill 1. All of the actor's and actress' performances were fantastic. The movie is motivating, exhilirating, and is like a roller coaster ride.
