Young Kermit loves to hang out in the swamp with his friends Goggles and Croaker, but he constantly wonders what the world is like beyond the marsh grass. But when Croaker is nabbed by the net of a pet store owner to be sold in his shop, Kermit and Croaker are forced to venture out and discover for themselves. Along the way, they enlist the help of a wise dog named Pilgrim--who takes the young amphibians on a journey that shows that just how wild and dangerous life outside the swamp can be!

    Pros: Great story and great special features

    Kermit's swamp years takes us where it all started for this iconic muppet. Before Manhatan, before Piggie, before the Muppet Show, before anything we had known, or thought we had known about Kermit, there where the swamp years. Where he was born ...and where he goes back home from time to time, even today. We also meet his best buddies: Croaker and Goggles. My personal favorite was Goggles. This insecure toad would make anybody's ribs crack, and he did just that for me. Croaker has everything to do with what a charming frog should be. And Kermit, well, lets just say he is just adorable and cute looking. Ah the miracle of prostetic makeup (watch the extra's to see what i mean here). A must see for every Muppet fan! Read more Less
