Cons: Poor Temp Control, Icemaker continually breaks
This refrigerator seemed to be everything we wanted in the showroom. It's large with lots of the features that we wanted. But the reality doesn't match the price or the "looks." The refrigerator freezes vegetables in the crispers bins (after months of trying to adjust the temperature and settings). The icemakers are worthless--our second icemaker broke within 10 days of repair. I understand this product is made by LG, and I will certainly never buy an LG-made refrigerator again. ...

We bought the Sears Refrigerator – Kenmore Elite, Model No. 795.75542401 new 18 months ago for a second residence condo. We have had two repairs: one was the defrost thermostat was faulty; now there's water on the floor caused by considerable ice buildup under the freezer bin.
PLUS, 4 weeks in advance, I submitted an OnLine service request, which was promptly acknowledged by Sears, to schedule a repair technician in order to get an early morning appointment. I waited over 7 hours and the technician just called to say I'm "Next, after I do a call ahead of you".
The refrig is JUNK and Sear's service response is UNSAT!
I have also had a recent issue with the warranty on another Sears product; the warranty turned out to be nearly worthless; certainly not worth purchasing. This is the end of my purchases from Sears. ...
