    This movie was total fun. I laughed out loud at many of the parts, especially when Eastwood, Sutherland, Savalas approached the tiger tank like cowboys in a duel! Eastwood was particularly endearing in the role, total cool and easy-going, like goin...g for a walk in the park instead of going 30 miles behind enemy lines to rob a bank. Carroll O'Connor was hilarious. Savalas was his usual in-control guy. Sutherland was great in his hippie glazed-over eyes manner. Definitely recommend this as a classic! Read more Less

    This old movie is today one of my 3 best movies, because of the charaters, realistic battles, funny made and so on...and of course the song "Burning bridges" gives you an extra funny feeling in body body.     Treasure of a movie

    An excellent movie. I grew up with this story. One of the best Clint Eastwood, Carol Oconner and Telly Salvas movies out there. Its funny, serious and filled with suspense. A very unique tale about a treasure hunt during ww2.

    After watching all the movies out there about war. This action comedy was pretty good at keeping me tuned in to the movie. I dont think that I stopped watching it. I've watched almost every war movie out there and this one is just about a bank robbe...ry that happens to be behind the eneimies line. The whole cast was picked perfectly. Read more Less
