Though she started as a backup singer for rocker Kenny Loggins, the solo recordings of Kate Price reveal a Celtic-style folk singer inspired by the cultural experimentation of Loreena McKennitt. From Santa Barbara, CA, Price first appeared in 1991 on Loggins' Leap of Faith album.
