Karen Carpenter CD: 1996
, February 17, 2001Reviewer: noomp - See all noomp's reviews1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this Karen Carpenter review helpful Although I find it deeply depressing that she never had the chance to explore this side of her jazz/pop milieu, it is a refreshing side that could have launched her career in a new direction, making her more akin to Sergio Mendez or Kenny G than to the top 40 cuts infecting the American pop landscape. Karen Carpenter solo album
, February 18, 2005Reviewer: phlipps - See all phlipps's reviewsPros: Different and Beautiful

After destroying disco albums in 1980, people have given disco a second chance, and disco is now entrenched in our society. Why can't people give Karen Carpenter a second chance? She sang a lot of songs that people have never listened to. ...
