Berlinbased French musician David Letellier, aka Kangding Ray, played in bands as a guitarist and drummer prior to taking up production of electronic music. He released a pair of albums for RasterNoton, Stabil (2006) and Automne Fold (2008), both of which incorporated acoustic and sampledandlooped elements, while the latter was markedly more songoriented a potential gateway into the RasterNoton label's less traditionally accessible releases.
