The game has some nice pre-rendered cinematics which help set up each scene. These cinematics offer the audience a chance to see the JLA heroes up close and personal, due to the distant three-quarter view you get in-game, which isn't as visually ...rewarding. Some of the voice-acting is less than stellar, but the visuals are rich and colorful. The gameplay mechanics borrow heavily from Champions of Norrah and similar RPG games. The save system is helpful and the power ups almost identical to the way Champions worked. It's fun playing as the different characters, although as the 1UP review said, there isn't a ton of difference between each character. Martian Manhunter's psychic blast is basically Superman's heat vision, Batman's Batarang, Wonderwoman's tiara, etc. etc. Read more Less
