About Julian Fane
Much like Sigur Rós, Dntel, and M83, Vancouver, Canada's Julian Fane makes spacious, atmospheric music that blurs the boundaries between electronica and dream pop. The singer/multiinstrumentalist/programmer performed with the band Waikiki and made experimental electronic pieces under the monikers Aardvark Interface and Taoist Blockade, but had a fulltime job as a day trader on NASDAQ, which he eventually quit to focus on his music.
