Synopis: Filmed at Milan, Italy's infamous Duomo, CHRISTMAS AT THE DUOMO is part of a series of performances commissioned by Il Pappa himself to celebrate the turn of the millennium. This concert features the mother and daughter sopranos, Montserrat Caballe and Montserrat Marti. Their spectacular voices are aptly backed by the Nuova Polifonic Ambrosiana Choir. Under the competent arm of conductor Jose Collada, the vocalists perform traditional holiday music as well as classical selections from Schubert, Verdi, Vivaldi and others.
