Equally comfortable with the classical European repertoire and African-American spirituals and folksongs, Jennifer Bynum has been a featured soloist for such orchestras as the Nashville Symphony, the Colorado Symphony and the Waterbury Symphony. Bynum has become increasingly known for her interpretations of African-American music. Her dual portrayal of Serena and Bess made the San Francisco Symphonys presentation of Porgy And Bess, in New York, one of the highlights of the 1998 opera season....
