    Pros: A absolutely brilliant early guitar Jazz / fusion album

    Cons: None

    Pat Martino is simply a fantastic Jazz / fusion guitarist. I was immediately struck by the beauty, virtuosity and originality (remember this was 1982)of the threads he weaves around rhythm section. A mixture of incredible dexterity and traditional ja...zz mixed with pentatonic fusion riffs played in a potent tangle of different patterns -over an excellent rhythmical space created by the bassist and drummer left me entranced for an entire summer. One of the most original of the jazz-based guitarists to emerge in the 1960s, Pat Martino made a remarkable comeback after brain surgery in 1980 to correct an aneurysm caused him to lose his memory and completely forget how to play.
