This dual-disc release should dispel any doubts about Josh Groban's enormous appeal. LIVE AT THE GREEK documents the young singer's final stop of his 2004 tour at the historic Los Angeles venue, and demonstrates why he's earned the ear-splitting screams of adoring fans. Groban is a charismatic performer who wraps a powerful baritone voice in boyish charm, and shows keen instincts in selecting material that's ideally suited to his talents.

This performance focuses mainly on selections from Groban's multi-platinum CLOSER album, including powerful renditions of "Oceano," "Remember When It Rained," and "Never Let Go," among others. But LIVE AT THE GREEK also showcases his range and versatility, as in versions of Paul Simon's "America" and Don McLean's "Vincent (Starry, Starry Night)," as well as a surprising cover of Linkin Park's "My December." Groban contributes an exuberant drum solo to "Canto Alla Vita," and the fine violin work of Lucia Micarelli is featured on "Mi Mancherai (Il Postino)."
