Spanish music star Dyango's son Jordi started his solo career at the age of 18, debuting on July 1997, singing at the Univisión morning show Despierta America. After signing up to Fonovisa and having his father as producer, Jordi's first album was released in 1997, followed by Desesperadamente Enamorado, which came out in February 1999.
