    lousy fridge,lousy service

    Pros: looks nice

    Cons: does not work well at all

    I've had this refrigerator for 6 years. During this time, starting with the first year, it has not run properly. (not cold enough in fridge) The repairman that came out even commented that it was a bad design. Anyway, after 6 repairs (one a compl...etely new motor) we have learned that about once a month you have to take the baskets out of the freezer, turn off the electricity, and using a hair blow dryer unfreeze the coils at the back of this thing and unfreeze the opening between the freezer and the fridge. As it melts water runs all over, so put down lots of towels. It is the worst refrigerator I have ever had and costs alot. I would rather have my old GE back. We got this one when we built our new home with all stainless steel appliances. Big mistake! Read more Less

    Lemon doesn't describe how bad

    Pros: made us buy a back-up refrigerator for the garage

    Cons: 6 service calls in 2 years

    Buy the extended warranty. We never buy them, but wish we had. You learn as a little kid that people that are pretty on the outside are not always pretty on the inside. Apparently that applies to Jenn Air refrigerators. Whirlpool makes this refriger...ator so they are on our "not so pretty" list as well. We've had the refrgerator break on our first Thanksgiving (year 1) in the house and it broke again over Christmas (year 2). Guess what? It is Christmas (year 3) and the fan went out. The service technician says that he replaces three of the fans every week on this model, so I guess we'll be seeing him again as our unit was purchased in March 2007. Do not buy this Read more Less
