Pros: Had features wanted

Cons: Jenn-Air does not stand behind their products

We purchased this range and will never purchase another Jenn-Air product. First we had a part in the bottom of the box we could not account for. The gas man thought it was a safety temp gauge so I called Jenn-Air. Customer service wanted to email me ...the part’s picture they thought it was and where it went and how to put it on. Mind you we have a warranty and a four year extended warranty on top of that. Secondly, the gas man informed us we were missing the burner caps and could not use the burners until we had them. Then the gas man turned on the grill side and the downdraft vent was making a horrible noise. When I had called customer service I insisted they send someone out due to all the problems. This was Friday am and the soonest would be Weds. A friend checked the blower motor and found crammed in it another EXTRA piece Mon., so I called to let them know so they would be prepared. I was told there was no guarantee they would have it fixed Weds. Then to top it off its Tues. and I get told they have yet to mail the burner caps. Even if it's fixed tomorrow we still can not use the burners, which could take 7 to 10 days. Customer service had the audacity to tell me if we had paid for the part we would have had it overnight. Pay for a part missing on a $2000+ brand new appliance. Obviously Jenn-Air does not need anymore customers purchasing their products. BEWARE! Read more Less
