Jeff Alexander (born Myer Goodhue Alexander was a classicallytrained composer, arranger, and conductor who enjoyed a 28 year career in Hollywood and on television (where his work included such popular series as My Three Sons and episodes of The Twilight Zone). In the course of his movie work, he wrote some songs in a popular idiom, including "Soothe My Lonely Heart", "The Wings of Eagles", and "Blues About Manhattan", and also wrote classical pieces for the concert hall.
