    Don't Let "We Thuggin'" Fool You!

    I had my doubts on this album after hearing that R Kelly crap but this album is pretty good. It's not better than his classic '95 album but he's got some bangers on here. I like "King Of NY" and "Definition Of A Don". I thought Joe was going to put a... bunch of girly tracks on here but he didn't! I might pick it up because its a lot better than 'Don Cartegena'.     from a dj's perspective, fat joe put it down. politically, fat joe has put it down for hip-hop. he is definitely an educated young man who deserves nothin' but love. the people that put it all on the line don't get enuff credit 'till it's way past... due. so i'm gonna speak out now while i should. i like dirty-ass people like fat joe, in no way outta disrespect. he's jus' doin' thing's the right way and earnin' everything he's got. eventhough he may not be in the spotlite of "pop-music", fat joe should be in the spotlite of human-life. he shows some serious character on this album. fat joe, you've been through a lot, i'm sorry that you had to experience what you did to make you what you are today.     Joe doesn't utilize his flow

    This album is weak compared to his last album "Don cartegena"His lyrics are hard to decifer and are not as intelligent or as intricate. The beats are choppy and not as smooth. they are almost annoying and most sound a like. Prospect tears it up tho... on "he's not real" and the " the wild life" which also features xzibit. These tracks are the highlights of the record along with whats luv? " and "my lifestyle." There are too many guest appearences on the album and Joe does not emphasize his " Terror Squad posse as much. His delivery is weak compared to the tracks on his last record. In other words FAT JOE has gone Soft as well as commercial and its really sad..... Read more Less
