This movie is so great. The first time I saw this I was very scared. But then I watched a second time and I wasn't scared at all so the first time you watch it don't be freaked out that you don't what to watch it again. Watch it a second time and you will be amazed!

Jaws 2 is a fare sequal. Still not as great as
the first,but has stuff to offer entertainment
wise. The shark is shown alot, which takes away the suspense. The scenes were done well,

Forget 3/Dumb & 4/Horrible. It surprised me how good this sequel was. Not as good as the first but still very entertaining. One to have on DVD with the original Jaws on DVD.

Time has not been good to this movie. In 1978 it was passable entertainment, but the years have depleted anything that may have been good about this movie. Jennot Szwarc may have thought it was a good idea to show ALOT of the shark, which is it's downfall. You obviously are not frightened by the things you see oppossed to what you don't. And seeing how lame the shark really is takes away any thrills that should have occured. The 70's dialogue is dated and phony. The biggest asset in the film is Roy Scheider's performance. He truly brings whatever credibility he can to the film. The DVD on the other hand is quite nice. Great supplements for a title that isn't a 'Special Edition' per say. The 45 minute documentary sheds alot of light on how 'this missed opportunity' was pieced together. Universal is quite dedicated to the DVD format and it really shows in the presentation. The ** are mostly for the Disc itself. Not the movie. But hey, it's not as bad as JAWS THE REVENGE.

Although not as good as Steven Speilbergs first shark epic, this films still manages to grip you with that terrifying suspense. Basically our friend Jaws is back to terrify Brody and his family this time, until it becomes a one to one battle to the death.
