Cut-and-paste mixmaster Jason Nevins was born in New York City in 1970; he began DJing while working at his college radio station at Arizona State University, and upon returning the East Coast began creating his first remixes. After producing a handful of compilation tracks, he issued his self-titled debut EP in 1994, followed in 1995 by the full-length Green. Remixes for Janet Jackson and Lil' Kim followed before Nevins rocketed to international fame in 1997 with his mix of the Run-D.M.C....
