The Smashing Pumpkins guitarist and very occasional vocalist (appearing mostly on Pumpkins B-sides) debuted his solo project with 1998's Let It Come Down for Virgin Records. Quite far from the Smashing Pumpkins' brand of arena-rock, Iha is more indebted to two other '70s traditions: the mellow West Coast sound and singer/songwriter styles.
